Synthesizer hardware from Finlay Shakespeare
This is a 4HP Eurorack panel that allows for two sets of 1/4" jack, 3.5mm jack and banana jack to be mounted and wired together, thus creating a passive interface between all three connection types. There is also space for a grounding banana jack.
The panel has been designed with the below connectors in mind:
1/4" Jack: PJ612A or Tru-Connect 20-1397, etc.
3.5mm Jack: PJ301BM
Banana Jack: Johnson-Cinch 108-09**-001 or BKL BB4, etc.
The legend on the panel also denotes that either the minijacks or 1/4" jacks are normalled together, depending on whether the "front" or "back" side of the panel is showing. This means that the two sets of connectors can be used as a format-jumbled multiple if wired in this way.
Don't require a particular connector? Consider fitting a 9mm potentiometer instead and turn the module into a format-jumbled passive attenuator.
Note that the panel is 1.6mm thick. The panel will flex a little, particularly when patching 1/4" jacks in and out.
